I had a great time with The Boy and the Heron. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.

I was completely pulled into The Boy and the Heron right away. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. This one absolutely lived up to the hype.

The Boy and the Heron is decent overall but uneven. A few scenes really work, but the pacing dips in the middle. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
