I had a great time with The Super Mario Bros. Movie. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. The premise is interesting, though the script could have been tighter.
