The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a very solid watch. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. A strong movie night pick.

I liked parts of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, even if it did not fully come together. There is enough here to stay watchable, even if it never quite takes off. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
