I wanted to like The Super Mario Bros. Movie more than I did. A few moments work, but the execution feels flat most of the time.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie starts with some promise but loses steam quickly. A few moments work, but the execution feels flat most of the time. It did not leave much of an impression on me.
