September 5 is decent overall but uneven. A few scenes really work, but the pacing dips in the middle. I can see why some viewers would like it more than I did.

There were a few decent ideas in September 5, but they did not add up. The film feels longer than it needs to because the script keeps circling the same beats. There were not enough standout moments to save it.

September 5 kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. I would revisit this one later.
