The Wizard of Oz kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. I would revisit this one later.

I had a great time with The Wizard of Oz. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.

The Wizard of Oz is decent overall but uneven. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. I can see why some viewers would like it more than I did.
