The Wizard of Oz is a very solid watch. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Definitely worth recommending.

I wanted to like The Wizard of Oz more than I did. Some scenes look good, yet the story never builds enough momentum. It did not leave much of an impression on me.
