The Monkey is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. This one absolutely lived up to the hype.

The Monkey is decent overall but uneven. There is enough here to stay watchable, even if it never quite takes off.

Really enjoyed The Monkey. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.

I wanted to like The Monkey more than I did. The film feels longer than it needs to because the script keeps circling the same beats. It did not leave much of an impression on me.
