I had a great time with The Amateur. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. Glad I watched it.

I liked parts of The Amateur, even if it did not fully come together. There is enough here to stay watchable, even if it never quite takes off. It lands somewhere in the middle for me.

The Amateur kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.
