The Amateur is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

I liked parts of The Amateur, even if it did not fully come together. A few scenes really work, but the pacing dips in the middle. It lands somewhere in the middle for me.
