Tonari no Totoro kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.

Tonari no Totoro is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

Tonari no Totoro is decent overall but uneven. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
