North by Northwest kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. I would revisit this one later.

North by Northwest worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. Still an okay one-time watch.

I liked parts of North by Northwest, even if it did not fully come together. There is enough here to stay watchable, even if it never quite takes off. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
