2001: A Space Odyssey is a very solid watch. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. Glad I watched it.

2001: A Space Odyssey kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Definitely worth recommending.

2001: A Space Odyssey starts with some promise but loses steam quickly. The film feels longer than it needs to because the script keeps circling the same beats. This one mostly missed for me.
