There were a few decent ideas in 2001: A Space Odyssey, but they did not add up. The pacing drags and the characters are hard to connect with. This one mostly missed for me.

2001: A Space Odyssey kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it.
