Once Upon a Time in America worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. A few scenes really work, but the pacing dips in the middle. It lands somewhere in the middle for me.

I liked parts of Once Upon a Time in America, even if it did not fully come together. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent.
